Is there still a storage option?

For various reasons, I feel like I should put away some of my art for a while, but I'd like to restore it eventually without losing it's description, title, comments, etc. I know this used to be possible, but all the stuff I'm finding about "putting things in storage" don't seem to work anymore. Anyone know if this is still possible?

DeviantArt does extortion now?

I admit, I've been away for a while, but now that I'm back, I can't help but notice that there are people whose art you can't even see a thumbnail of unless you pay money or "watch" them? Ha, ha... what!? Why would anyone pay cash just to look and see if someone's art is something you like? How is this not bait and switch? And "watch me or your can't see what I do?"; extortion. Weird. Unwelcome. No thanks.

Have you ever had a security clearance removed in retaliation for whistleblowing activity? I have. That's why you haven't seen much art from me this year. The fight is lost and I'm still struggling to find a job in this crazy market, but in the meantime, I'm also fighting to get my book to the public (the one that got me fired).
