This is part 1 of 3 in my explanation of what REALLY happened. I mean, 1000 years before episode one, they had light and cities. Why wouldn't there have been plenty of ponies out in the dark?

And why banish her for 1000 years? Doesn't that seem extreme? So many people say Celestia is a "troll" for this when in reality there was no other way.

More than anything, I am doing this comic series to defend Celestia who is probably the greatest pony who has ever lived in Equestria and it breaks my heart the way people treat her sometimes.

Now it's time to find out the REAL story behind the legend of the elements of harmony (I just hope I can do it justice with my current level of skill!)

This took about 3 to four weeks to do. The background graphic took 1 and a half weeks alone! I specifically used only Photoshop and not Illustrator for the backstory stuff to make it more rough (to mimic the style used in the show).

EDIT: Fixed a spelling error. Also, thanks for all the words of support! I guess I'm far from the only one who feels this way.
