Holy wow. 6 months in the making, 8 comics, thousands of layers, hundreds of hours of work. It was worth it.

I hope you enjoyed this series as much as I have. A few things to note about this comic:

* Some of the panels are drawn, not vectored. This is "Tumblr Practice" as I'm considering starting an ask Tumblr

* Now that you know that Crabapple has loved Willow pretty much since they met, some of the other scenes through the comic should make more sense. For example, why he went almost nuts when Willow and the Princess were unconscious. It wasn't the Princess that drove him mad.

* Does something seem... familiar about the two heart healer ponies under Willow? It should. Think a few comics back... Their cutie marks each have significant meaning as well.

* Maybe you're picking up on a few hints that I'm throwing out there. That Crabapple and Willow founded Ponyville. They did. Remember when Twilight said "Earth ponies founded Ponyville hundreds of years ago"? I believe she meant "Non magical ponies" meaning that having it founded by Earth/Pegasus makes sense which is why they use both to wrap up winter (but not magic). As for Granny Smith's account, let's just pretend that Ponyville was abandoned for some reason and Celestia saw the appropriateness of returning it to the Apple family when they came through.
