So I had already planned on doing more of these, but Derpy was easily the frontrunner for which one to do next. She's so damned cute!

Getting the water right with the reflections was definitely challenging and so was doing the houses, though that was far more about getting all the shading right and dealing with the immense amount of details. For instance, each windows has a reflection in it and the bird feeder/chime has a shadow on the wall behind it.

The way you portray Derpy Hooves/Ditsy Doo here is very cute. The bubbles that float just a bit out of the frame gives it a sense of not being confined (going outside the box). Sort of a dreamy, whimsical feeling.

While she isn't one of the "mane cast", she is still the pony that has the internet going on about her after all this time and will always be important to the fans.
