NOW FOR THE ART STUFF

I started a webcomic a little over four years ago to improve my art skills and it worked really well! I'm still not where I want to be by far, but I feel like I can now at least put pencil to paper and make what I imagine come out for the most part.

I've mostly abandoned it for ponies now, but meh... let the pony comics begin!

I've heard, but not really seen, that there are some fans going completely bonkers over this whole thing. If you do manage to see one of these people freaking out, just remind them:


* It won't affect the real show

* Let's not prejudge. That's what brony haters do isn't it?

* If you decide not to watch it, fine; but in avoiding it you remove any right you had to discuss it ever.

* If you watch it and hate it, great. So what? The simple solution is to not watch any more because... once again... it's existence doesn't mean anything for the real show.

I think of it as an animated fanfiction... Like friendship is witchcraft. Maybe it will be good. Who knows? But it's certainly nothing to get up in arms about. Save your pitchforks for Season 4 if Derpy is missing.

Welp if you hadn't read the idw comics. you were right that it was a force possessing.

They call themselves the nightmare force. According to Princess Luna, the Nightmare Forces convinced Luna that she could show how powerful and special she was by making everybody fear her, and took over her body to feed off of her energy and hate. When Nightmare Moon was changed back into Luna, the Nightmare Forces fled to the moon, where they hid. But by harnessing the cycle of a new moon, the Nightmare Forces returned to Equestria and planted nightmares into the minds of Twilight Sparkle and her friends. They focused on Rarity before kidnapping her, taking her to their realm on the moon, the Nightmare Dreamscape to become the new nightmare moon. They manifest as masses of purple and gray smoke or flames, in the vague shapes of animals with varying eye colors. They are led by a Nightmare Force called Shadowfright (Though i heard his minions called him larry.)

Out of curiosity, which of your elements would fight? Rose Petal wouldn't, Rook would, but what about the others?

Fight who? Yes, Rook is obviously a fighter and so is Willow. Luau wouldn't hesitate and Crabapple would definitely step up if necessary (though he's not as hot headed as Willow if you can imagine it).

Remember how forever ago I asked about using your characters in a story? ;P They wouldn't know, but I'm talking about a variety of opponents. Thralls, summons, and even big bads, including two who do something rather unforgivable.

Also, I put the first chapter of the story up on FiMFiction.net. It's called, "Elements; Thousand Years Coming." Give it a read if you're interested. And give feedback if you do, please! I would want to know if I do anything wrong with your characters! Rated teen.

Interesting. Your style is a little hard for me to follow in that I have a hard time telling who's talking or doing something and when I figure it out, you shift to someone else. I found the segment where Rose appeared to be pretty interesting, though I wonder why she would leave flowers and run in that particular case. Certainly if she saw that they were upset, it would be like her to leave a gift, but did she not know that it was the future? I would think that being transported would upset her and her first action would have been to find someone to talk to about it.
